The Montana Winter Fair Death by Chocolate Competition is an open, judged competition. You may enter each category only once. Lot 1: Chocolate Cake (Whole cake.
Lot 2: Chocolate Pie (Whole pie)
Lot 3: Chocolate Cookies or Bars (2 Dozen) Lot 4: Chocolate Candy (18 Pieces)
Lot 5: Chocoale Dessert - Any Other Lot 6: Chocolate Entry - Youth - Under 18 years old. Rules 1. There is no entry fee. The class is open to anyone, any age, amatuer or professional chocoholic. 2. All entries must be made by the person entering. 3. All entries must be accompanied by the recipe for the item entered. Recipes become the property of the Winter Fair and may be used in the publication of cookbooks or for publicity. Please type or print the recipe clearly for reproductiton. Entries without the recipe will not be accepted for judging. Please put your name and address on the recipe. 4. Items must be entered on Montana Winter Fair entry blanks. These blanks are in the Montana Winter Fair premium book or can be obtained at the Fergus County Fairgrounds when entering the contest. 5. Exhibit entry date is Saturday from 8:00 AM untiul 10:00 AM. Judging will begin immediately. 6. Entries will be displayed at the Trade Center directly after judging. 7. Entries will be auctioned in the afternoon with proceeds going to the Montana Winter Fair. 8. Use disposable containers for all items if possible as containers will not be returned to entrants. 9. There will be prizes awarded in each category with a $100 grand prize awarded to the entry judged best of show.
