The Montana Winter Fair Chili Cook-off is an open, judged competition.   There are 2 Chili categories.  You may enter in each category only once.

Chili

         Lot 1: Standard

         Lot 2: Other

                   (Additional categories will be considered if entry numbers merit them)

                Rules:

1.  There is no entry fee.  The cook-off is open to anyone of any age.  All entries must be made by the person entering. 
2.  Entrants will provide one gallon of chili in a self heating container.  Safe food handling practices will be followed at all times.
3.  Items must be entered on Montana Winter Fair entry blanks found in the Winter Fair premium book or downloaded from this web site.
4.  Entries will be accepted from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  Judging will begin at 11:00 AM.                                                                                             5.  Following the judging, the chili will be sold for $1.00 per bowl with proceeds going to the Winter Fair and to prizes.
6.  Prizes will be awarded.

        A People's Choice award will be given.  The award will be announced when serving is completed.
