Exhibit Schedule:
Entries will be on display at the Lewistown Art Center, Tuesday, January 24 through Saturday, February 11 during Art Center hours: Tuesday – Friday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Demonstrations and Classes:
During Winter Fair, Friday and Saturday, January 27th and 28th,
demonstrations and classes will be held.

Registration:
On or before Thursday, January 13, 2017, entries may be taken to the Lewistown Art Center or mailed to Marcy Foran (120 Ridgelawn Ave, Lewistown, MT 59457).  Please note: Shipping is at your own risk.

Please complete General Registration Form, Section 1 & 2, and bring with your entry.
Under description, include a visual description of your entry (size, color, design, etc) so we can identify it easily. 
Include return postage if your entry is to be returned to you via mail.

Pick-Up:
Items may be picked up at the Lewistown Art Center between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, or during regular Art Center hours that week. If you would like your entry returned to you by mail (at your own risk), please include the cost of shipping with your entry form.

Fee:
No entry fee

Prizes:
First place gifts will be awarded in every class. In addition, one overall Best of Show will be awarded.

Sale of Items:
If any individual would like to display and/or sell items, a booth space must be rented through the
Montana Winter Fair Trade Show. Your booth will be in the Trade Center at Fergus County Fairgrounds.

Rules:

  1. All entered items must have been created in the past twelve months.
  2. Any item that has been knitted, crocheted, woven, needle felted, or hand spun will be accepted for entry.
  3. The item entered must have been created by entrant.
  4. Items will be judged and then displayed for the remainder of the fair.
  5. Items for exhibit cannot be sold during the display period.
  6. All items will be secured when the exhibit is closed.

  Class 1: Large Wearable Items (sweaters, vests, etc)
     Lot 1: knitted, crocheted
     Lot 2: woven
     Lot 3: tatted, etc.
     Lot 4: felting
 
  Class 2:
Small Wearable Items (hats, mittens, scarves, etc.)
     Lot 1: knitted, crocheted
     Lot 2: woven
     Lot 3: tatted, etc.
     Lot 4: felting
 
  Class 3: Large Non-Wearable Items (table clothes, afghans, etc)
     Lot 1: knitted, crocheted
     Lot 2: woven
     Lot 3: tatted, etc.
     Lot 4: felting
 
  Class 4:
Small Non-Wearable Items (place mats, toys, etc.)
     Lot 1: knitted, crocheted
     Lot 2: woven
     Lot 3: tatted, etc.
     Lot 4: felting
 
  Class 5: Hand Spun Yarn- Skeins must be washed and may be 2-4 oz. in weight.
     Lot 1: Woolen- any fiber
     Lot 2: Worsted- any fiber
     Lot 3: Novelty- any fiber or blended
     Lot 4: Exotic- Camel, Yak, Buffalo, etc.
